Shiranna Arabians was established in 1982 by myself, my mother Shirley Richter and my late sister Lisa Richter.

Our introduction to the Arabian Horse saw the purchase of a 2yo Partbred Arabian Gelding.

We then began Breeding Arabians.

Our first Arabian Partbred Filly "Shiranna Santrice" by Karoo (right).

We have bred both Purebreds and Derivatives, but have mainly bred Anglos, Arabian Riding Ponies and Arabian Ponies with many Ponies being Multi Reg (Palomino / Buckskin, Part Welsh, Section A RP, ect)

I have always been involved with horses since an early age and now together with my daughter Samantha & my mother Shirley own and operate Shiranna Arabians, breeding quality Arabian Derivatives with high percentage of Arabian Blood. Although my son Brandon is not really horsey, he still has his favourites.

Also, we have our replacement colt for Sorella Kahlua; Shiranna Kahlua Shaklan (Brown Purebred Arabian), who is rising 3 year old and a rising 2yo Brown Arabian Riding Pony Colt, (full brother to Valentino & Romeo) Shiranna Casanova.

SHIRANNA ARABIANS is located in the flat Gippsland town of LONGWARRY, approx 1 hr from Melbourne, Victoria.

We have moved to 50 acres, approx. 1 km from our 20 acre property. We sold the 19 1/2 acres around the house to developers who are currently developing 40 acres next-door. My mother, Shirley still owns the 1/2 acre with the house. It has been a long-and-going task of setting up our new property, having to re-fence EVERYTHING! But, It is coming along great and cant wait untill we are finished.

So far, our facilities include:

• 11 Post & Rail Paddocks / Day Yards (all various sizes)
  

• 2 Paddocks with a Top Rail (1 paddock with a lockup box/stable)
  

• 8 Various sized Paddocks with laneway/trees between each (2 paddocks with a lockup box/stable)
  

• 7 Various sized Large Paddocks
  

• 10 Holding/Stock Yards (Piggy Pens)
  

• Central Laneway
  

We also have a picturesque pond filled with waterlilies which is great as a backdrop for taking photos. We are also in the process of putting in our turntable which will be landscaped with garden & our white  pergola.
